Dining on Ego Biscuits

"You were awesome. I've never seen you run so fast. You were faster than women half your age. How come I've never seen you run this well?"

Dear Lord, do I love this man, or what.

I had a great run last night. It wasn't that long - a skosh under 3miles, but it felt glorious. I was felt strong and my legs felt light - and I felt like there was still a little more in the tank if I needed it.

  1. Isn't it amazing how our bodies "remember?" So cool you're running again. I've been "THINKING" about starting up for real again myself. I miss that feeling I had 10 years ago when I was doing it FOR ME. I was talking with my 66 year old uncle the other day, a man who has done probably 10 marathons in his life. I asked him, are you still running? He said, yes. I've had lots of injuries over the years, but they've gone away and I'm back at it, in fact I'm doing a Marathon in February. My jaw dropped. PLUS he lives in Rhode Island and trains all through the winter.

Now, I have NO excuse. What do you think?

We'll try this for a while.
