It's Electric

Wow. That was like the best party I've ever been to. This is going to be all kinds of fun. Now I just wish my brain had an off switch that would active upon exiting the theater. It took me a while to come down.

I came home and took Inez out for a spin.

  1. Hi Roxie. Happy to see you on my blog. Here is how I make my greek yogurt. I've been making it since last June. At first, though I enjoyed it, I considered it a big production. Now I've got it down well enough that it's just a blip in my schedule. I heat a gallon of skim milk to 180, cool it to 110, take a half cup of that milk and mix it with a half cup of greek yogurt. Then I take that mixture and thoroughly whisk it into the pot of milk. I cover the pot and put it in a cooler that has been preheated with some of those microwavable heating pads. I leave the heating pads in and add a bath towel to hold warmth. Periodically I might, if I'm home, reheat the heating pads. I let it go about 12 hours. Then I strain it in a colander lined with a dampened handi-wipe type cloth (I prefer this to paper towels or cheesecloth).

  3. I'm thinking I have potential in the creativity department too. This is shaping up to be an interesting year of change.
